Nor Cal Aero Club presents advanced coaching for up and coming pilots. Safety, Spots, Soaring, and Special Skills will be our focus for the weekend of March 11&12. We'll start out with a discussion led by Eric Hinrichs on the evening of the Friday the 10th in Redwood City. The main subjects will be on soaring strategies, decision making, and consistent, safe, spot landings. Next day the 11th we'll be towing out at Dixon and work on good approaches and signing off spot landings. This will be followed by a discussion led by Ken Brown who will cover landing approach techniques and general survival skills of flying. Sunday the 12th we'll continue towing, but those finished and almost finished with their spots will move to Ed Levin and be observed for special skills such as RLF and XC while practicing different approaches and scratching. Sunday night we'll wrap things up in Milpitis with a debriefing, study group for hang IV test, test administering, and signing off skills and ratings.

Pilots of all skill levels welcome to attend, we'll adapt the focus according to the pilots participating.

Tow rating must already be accomplished to participate at Dixon. Any pilot can participate at Ed Levin.

Complete weekend Coaching Session - $150

Ground Schools and one day Coaching at Dixon - $100

Attend any or all ground schools - $50

(all tows paid for separately)
